Why does Twitter matter?

I get this question often. The truth is, do you need more intelligent truly interested people going to your website or into your store?

If the answer is no, shut your doors and go out of business.

If on the other hand you are one of these business owner’s who can be honest enough to say I really could use some business. There is a good chance Twitter could work for you. If you assume only young people tweet, your wrong, again, 2 years ago my wife brought home an article from where she works that was given to her by a patient. The patient was 92 years young. You thought,I was going to say old stop being so negative.

The article was about Twitter and it had this lady Twitter address with a short note saying follow me.

There are businesses in all forms of advertising that work better for some niches but we ad people should no better than to pre judge.

We have to look at the big picture if we can get infront of  more people that are interested in our industry the chances of them bringing us someone who might need us is better than being the doctor who calls someone at home and asks them to make an appointment next week on the off chance they might be able to find something that is wrong with them.

Marketing works you have to take the time to really brand your company.

Which as most of my clients know begins with the simplest things like a logo, background and Areas of interest see my contact form if you need to know more. Better yet set up a time to speak with me or someone in the company. I am no guru but I have seen what works and what does not on twitter and I have enough success stories of my own and from the clients I work with to be able to show you how this works.
